While checking the mail box on my way into the house after work, I found a letter for me. It was from the Department of Immigration and Multucultural and Indigenous Affairs (Abbre. DIMIA). Apparently they found me too good to not be granted a permanent residence visa :)
So yeah, I'm now an Aussie bloke. Yeah mate! Beers for everyone in the blog!
Actually it came as a surprise. About four weeks ago I received a letter from my case officer requesting for a letter of completion from ANU as well as my ORIGINAL Malaysian Police Clearance Letter, which I promptly sent three weeks ago. Now here I am, granted with a visa that allows me to have more freedom, opportunities and choices to improve myself.
Anyway, I should call my parents about it. Will do now.
